I know…I said I was going to get better at this.  The business is booming…I have so much to say…and yet, it always seems to get by me.

I think one of the last things I said was that I may be getting Consultants!!!  Well…WELCOME HALEY!!  She is fully signed on, attended her first training party and is doing one on Friday night!! We had so much fun at the one we did last night – what a great way for her to start out.  These were some vibrant women! I love being around people like that!

Back to Haley. She lives in Maine most of the year but is in Dayton for a time too.  There is a link to her on our website.  She makes 25% of everything she sells!!  Just for having parties and meeting people.  Not bad for a few hours on your own time schedule.  And like I said, you really do meet some FUN people!!

The slots for the parties are filling up fast this summer! People are already talking about parties for CHRISTMAS!!! Isn’t there a thing about “Christmas in July”? That’s the spirit!! So email me and set yours up!!  A couple hours, some free jewelry and LOTS of fun women to share it with!!

OK, we’re thinking about really expanding this thing!!  I’ve had a couple inquiries now from women who would like to become representatives of Memory Round My Neck.  Basically, I’ll still make everything, but they will start having their own parties, finding friends to have exciting evenings making memories of their own.  I’m working on all the logistics, but if I have some feedback, I may really try to do this.  Of course, as a rep. you’ll get a percentage of the evenings sales.  The more you sell, the more you make.  Who knows, maybe it’ll keep growing and we’ll all be the founders of some huge company one day!!  We can dream right…it does happen!!

So, give me your thoughts – positive and negative.  Ideas? Do you want to try it out with us? Do you think we’re nuts? Let me know what you think!!!

I have this friend who says I don’t “blog” nearly as much as I should for having a business.  See, that’s the thing.  If you have a business, how do you have time to “blog”?  I never even knew what the word “blog” meant until her.  Now she’s good at it.  She can make the simplest things insanely interesting and funny.  Must be all of her “blogging” experience.  I hope one day to be as good of a “blogger” as she is.  Until then…you get this!

Catalogs!!  People have been asking for catalogs.  Makes sense.  So far it’s been pretty difficult to determine which piece of jewelry someone was interested in.  So catalogs are in the works.  Now, do I make catalogs, you ask??  Of course not, the before mentioned “blogger” is also a “catalogger”.  So, as soon as they are out I’ll post some pictures and information about them.  I can’t wait to see them myself!!

AND…don’t forget about home parties!!  They have been a huge hit!! Things have changed a bit, but it’s still VERY worth your while to have one.  First, you’ll receive any necklace you want for FREE!!!  Then you’ll get 15% off of the total sales in FREE jewelry!!  AND…if someone books a party off of your party, you’ll get a special surprise gift!!! This Memory Round My Neck home party deal is awesome!!!  I didn’t start out to do this, but wow did it work out well.

The first home party was a huge success.  Of course, as I say all the time, I owe so much to my friend, Christy of www.inspiredbychristy.com.  She basically helped my set up, helped me sell, told me what I was doing wrong (of course in the nicest of ways) and is my all around right hand woman!! We had so much fun!

The hostess had a party that lasted less than 2 hours and she has already gotten 3 pieces of FREE jewelry.  She’s still going strong too.  Can you imagine.  She’s up to $200 + in FREE jewelry for having all of her friends come over and hang out!!!  There were kids running around, woman eating and laughing, a husband hiding…what a fun night!!!

I’ve got two more parties lined up and people are already talking about what to get those mothers and mothers-in-law for Mothers Day.  I know you’re thinking about it already (I know your husband is not) but I can almost guarantee you some tears with this gift!!!
